DO NOT use compressed air or dry brushing to clean brake assemblies. Friction materials contain fibres. A tiny portion of the dust found in used brake and clutch parts will be free fibrous materials. Prevent dust particles from becoming airborne by using the following work practices:
Remove accumulated dust in assemblies by vacuuming with an industrial vacuum cleaner fitted with a high efficiency filter system, OR wipe down components with a damp cloth.
