Bendix Strengthens Partnership with Kenny Lee and Powers SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series for Thrilling 2025-2026 Season

Bendix, via its Malaysian office FMP Automotive (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Kenny Lee as the official Bendix brand ambassador. A highly respected figure in the motorsports industry, Kenny is the Team Principal & Chief Coach of Kegani Racing Academy, which is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of racing talent.

In a significant development, Kenny Lee revealed that, alongside Bendix’s ongoing support of the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series for the 2025 season as its official braking partner, Bendix will also step in as one of the professional team partners for the SKILLDRVN Swift Supercup Pro-Series, which will complement the One Make Race Series starting in 2026. The Pro-Series will consist of a select group of 10 racing teams, each with one driver, chosen from the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series talent pool to compete at a professional level. Drivers selected for the Pro-Series will receive a race contract with all running costs fully covered by their team. This strengthened partnership underscores Bendix’s deep commitment to advancing motorsports while showcasing its cutting-edge braking technology.

“Bendix has been a crucial part of our journey, and their continued support reinforces our commitment to nurturing young racing talent and elevating the standards of motorsports in Malaysia”, said Kenny Lee. “With Bendix’s cutting-edge braking technology and expertise, we’re more prepared than ever to equip our drivers with the tools they need to compete at the highest level, with precision and performance at the forefront.”

Bendix’s involvement in the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series reinforces its dedication to providing top-tier braking performance for both everyday drivers and professional racers. The brand, celebrating over a century of braking excellence, continues to push innovation with industry-leading technologies such as the Stealth brake pad design for noise reduction and the Blue Titanium Stripe, which minimizes bedding-in time and delivers optimal performance immediately after installation.

With a market presence spanning over 95% of passenger vehicles in Malaysia—including performance cars, electric vehicles, 4WDs, and commercial vehicles—Bendix is also an OEM supplier for Proton and Perodua. Its extensive network of 1,000 distributors, wholesalers, spare part dealers and workshops ensures that its products are widely accessible to both car owners and fleet customers nationwide.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Kenny Lee and take this collaboration to new heights,” said Seow Kok Loi, Sales and Marketing Manager of FMP Automotive (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. “By becoming a professional team partner in the SKILLDRVN Swift Supercup Pro-Series, we are not just supporting the sport but also demonstrating the superior capabilities of Bendix braking technology in real racing conditions.”
